Right up my Abbey Road, people. Bravo to Tate Modern for thinking way outside the box-y museum to engage new audiences with art. The Tate has teamed up with Google to allow museum visitors (in an area with free admission) to create short animations that grow from each others' contributions in a project called This Exquisite Forest.

Seven Tate artists launched the project with their drawings and Google's web-based drawing tool. Museum and website visitors take it from there.
